"On retiring to Cirencester, following a busy career travelling round the world, I felt I needed to put something back into society.

"The opportunity arose to join the local support group for the hospice, and this opened my eyes to the many good works that Cotswold Care was providing for the local community.

"For the past 10 years my wife and I have chaired the Cirencester Support Group running many fundraising activities.

"We have seen the hospice grow and expand its support services for people with life limiting illnesses and hope we have contributed in some small way."
