Cotswold Care Hospice has a range of outpatients services and many people choose to access this support.
By using outpatients services, people can have the flexibility to plan and manage their lives.
Our current outpatient services include lymphoedema, complementary therapy, palliative care consultant, Art for Health, counselling, bereavement support, heart failure clinics and clinical nurse specialists in palliative care.
The outpatients’ services are there to help our patients, their carers and their families.
The needs of each person are different – and so, to be most effective, our treatment for each person is closely tailored to those needs.
Our range of complementary therapies are selected to help in symptom control and aid relaxation.
Lymphoedema management is provided at our Minchinhampton base.
Living with a life-limiting illness can produce powerful emotions which may be difficult to deal with. Sometimes it can be helpful for these feelings to find expression through art.
The Multiple Sclerosis Support Group meet monthly at Cotswold Care Hospice.
Dr Cath Blinman, palliative care consultant, holds regular clinics at Cotswold Care Hospice.
Cotswold Care Hospice has a number of clinical nurse specialists operating both as part of our staff and as part of our hosted service. The clinical nurse specialists who run clinics at the hospice are the heart failure team, the palliative care team and the lymphoedema team.
