Hospice care focuses on the whole person - not just the life-limiting or progressive illness. Cotswold Care Hospice looks after the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the person. That also means supporting their families and carers.
At Cotswold Care we believe that every person is an individual and should be treated accordingly. Our aim is to help people maintain their dignity and maximise their quality of life. We are an adult hospice and support people over the age of 18. We recognise that it can be a difficult time for carers and families and that they may need support.
All of the services provided by Cotswold Care Hospice are free of charge. More than 90 per cent of our funding comes from donations and fundraising events.
We can provide care from pre-diagnosis onwards. The earlier we are involved, the more we can help to make a real difference to the lives of patients and those who support them.
A Hospice is not just for end of life. We are here to support anyone with a life-limiting illness or a progressive illness when they need us. Many people may come to us for support and then get on with their lives.
We provide help and support more than 500 people each year. We provide day therapy and outpatient services. We also provide hospice at home nurses who support people who wish to spend their remaining days at home.
