Cotswold Care Hospice provides a Counselling Service which focuses on the needs of individuals who are experiencing emotional difficulties as a result of a life-limiting illness.
This support is available to the person themselves and also to any of their family members or carers.
Our counselling service offers a dedicated time for these individuals to move forward, by identifying choices and setting goals. These sessions are with a trained counsellor and are provided within an agreed time frame. Support can be made available at any stage in the illness process.
By talking confidentially to a counsellor in a safe environment, people often find that they are able to explore and resolve issues that may be perplexing or troubling. This service may be accessed as part of Day Therapy or via outpatient appointment.
