Trek 3 Volcanoes, Italy

Scale Italy's three famous volcanoes: Vesuvius, Stromboli and Mount Etna on Sicily and visit the ancient city of Pompeii - and raise money for Cotswold Care Hospice.

The amazing adventure of the lifetime is May 19-May 24, 2011.

Enjoy some of Italy's spectacular scenery while scaling its three famous volcanoes. We start with Vesuvius in southern Italy best known for the explosion that buried Pompeii.

An overnight boat ride to Stomboli is followed by a challenging trek of around six hours to the summit of the volcano which dominates this small island.

The adventure culminates on the slopes of smouldering Mount Etna in Sicily, one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
