Supporting Cotswold Care through fundraising

Cotswold Care Hospice needs to raise £4,750 each and every day to provide its vital services. There are lots of ways in which you can help.

How can I support Cotswold Care Hospice?

You can help us by getting involved in one of our fundraising events or organise your own event. A good place to start is to visit our events section and to visit www.how2fundraising.org which has tips, information and ideas.

What support and help can I expect from Cotswold Care Hospice?

Although we have a small fundraising team, and limited resources, we will endeavour to provide support for your fundraising activity. We can usually provide you with posters, collection tins, banners and literature about the hospice. We can give you guidance and some support to enable you to run your own event. We can also draft press releases and try to get them in the local press to help promote your event. If you will like someone from Cotswold Care to attend your event or accept a cheque we will do our very best to be there. Please give us as much notice as possible.

How do I prove to others that I am authorised to raise funds for Cotswold Care Hospice?

We can send you a letter of authorisation to show that we know about your fundraising. Please contact our fundraising department on 01453 886868 and we will send something to you.

How can I make a regular gift to Cotswold Care Hospice?

Regular gifts are very important to Cotswold Care Hospice as they enable us to plan our resources. By setting up a direct debit you also help us save money in terms of administration costs. What is gift aid?

If you are a UK tax payer you can complete a Gift Aid form. This means we can reclaim the basic tax from HM Revenue and Custom. This means that a £100 donation from you will be worth £128.00 to us. Read more on gift aid.

Will I get a letter acknowledging how much I have donated?

Yes you will get a thank you letter from us unless you have requested that we do not send you an acknowledgement. We aim to process your donation within three days of receiving your gift.
